Chris Meisch

Chris grew up in Wabasha, MN.  Growing up on the Mississippi River got him addicted to walleye fishing at a young age.  He currently lives in Ramsey, Minnesota with his wife and two children and is the Assistant Principal at Armstrong High School.  When not busy being dad or serving his school, he can be found on the water chasing walleyes.  His home water is Mille Lacs.

He has  been fishing competitively since 2010 and currently fishes the Minnesota Tournament Trail with a team of 3 co-anglers (John Meisch, Tony Nelson & Brent Muilenburg).  The Tournament Trail takes them all over the state of Minnesota, and the Championships are fished each season on Lake of the Woods.

Chris utilizes Contour Elite to plan pre-fishing for each tournament before he ever puts the boat in the water.  Knowing and understanding the structure of the lake cuts down his searching and assists him with getting on the fish at a rapid pace.

“We have found that the only way to remain competitive and to separate ourselves on the Tournament Trail is to find the edge.  A big part of our success can be directly related to Contour Elite.  Learning the lake you are fishing is invaluable, and I honestly can’t imagine planning my trips and tournaments without it. “ – Chris Meisch
